Isaiah 43:18 – 19
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

The above Bible verse is one of many Bible verses which speaks of our past. This speaks of how we are not to dwell on our past mistakes; we are not a victim of our past; our past does not define who we are as both Sons & Daughters of The Living God.
All of us have regrets at some stage in our lives. Every single person has something or some things that have caused us to perhaps dwell on our past whereby we may find it difficult to let go. We can become so focused on the mistakes we have made to the point that this can take over our life – if we let it! I wonder why it can be so hard for us to move forward sometimes; I wonder why when the past keeps coming up over and over that instead of moving forward in the Joy of The Lord – we allow the enemy instead to invade our thoughts as it is him that does not want us to let go and move on; It is him that does not want us to have the freedom that Jesus Christ has given us to dwell in His Truth and to abide in Him. Instead, we can become so super focused on our past mistakes where we allow the enemy to literally rob us of our joy!
Dear Reader, this is not and never has been God’s intention for us to live in a never-ending cycle of past regrets and/or past mistakes. Do not fall victim to Satan’s wiles because this is exactly where he wants us. He hates and I mean literally hates the name of Jesus Christ. So, when we become followers of Jesus – this is when Satan then immediately jumps in to do his utmost to destroy our relationship with Jesus. Satan is as the saying goes “as cunning as a fox”; he is smart and he can and will try and twist anything good that Jesus wants to do in our lives that he will literally try his utmost to seek, kill and destroy us – but we know that Jesus has already won the battle for your life and mine.
So, don’t allow him the satisfaction of letting him win. But let us start to move forward in our walk with Jesus by getting ourselves more and more grounded in God’s Word; by spending adequate time talking to Him – to the point where we are putting on the mind of Christ. Don’t let the devil steal your joy! Remember that we are in a battle; and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
And I am going to stress the obvious yet again, which is please seriously start getting into God’s Word each and every single day and not just a few verses but a few chapters where you can take this time of study to chew and mediate on His Word – because if you don’t – how else are you expected to grow. Finally, if we don’t spend the much-needed time with Abba Father every single day – then you know what Satan, has already started to get his claws into you – don’t let him, seriously don’t.
So, on that note – what are you going to do hereon in moving forward!!

Craig Mark O’BrienI agree that yes there are consequences, however, this is where forgivness along with grace and where Abba Father permits healing. There is also restoration – nothing is impossible, which I am sure you will agree. At times where situations whether current or past feel impossible, He alone can turn arround to the possible, again I am sure you will agree!!
