Terror strikes both day & night
People running, hiding out of sight
Being told to hide in their homes
Freedom taken, with nowhere to roam
Not giving in, determined to fight back
With fear & trembling prepared for attack
Their cries in unison heard everywhere
But for many, they just cower & stare
Thousands of lives shattered; lost
Wanting freedom; this comes at a cost
Staring down the barrel of a gun
In the blink of an eye; the deed done
Overhead the skies flaming red
But on the ground more blood shed
Weapons of both terror & destruction
Many prayers for complete malfunction
The war continuing on & on
This evil regime has to be gone
Completely annilated; every one
This when all is both said & done
Elsewhere bomb shelters full
Taking cover heeding the call
Laying low families huddled together
In this war full of pure evil & terror
Many times throughout each day
Back to the shelter without delay
Exhausted running on empty
Tensions rife; running a plenty
Lives continue to be cruely taken
Battle weary; feeling lost; shaken
But many know the end of the story
A story so beautiful; far from boring
Watching; waiting in anticipation
As is foretold at the end of revelation
Our Promise Keeper from on High
Yeshua returning soon for His Bride
Do you know Him; King of Israel
His plans of purpose; never to fail
Turn to Him now before it’s too late
Your eternity here very much at stake
