Springtime

 

This winter season is almost over thank goodness

But even so it has been a weird few months regardless

These winter months strangely enough have not been so cold

Will the year continue as it started, I guess we won’t yet know

You will soon see farmers putting their hands to the plough

For it is also the time of year when trees they will just sough

Spring spells new life for many animals and birds

Including the cows that are all over and amalgamate in herds

Lambing season is right around the corner

Where these youngsters will become great explorers

When these lambs are born this is a delight to see

Sometimes their mothers ignore them, so they are harder to feed

 

So, for the farmers around this season spells a lot of hard work

This job is not for the faint hearted but there are those who will shirk

For the springtime is almost here upon us

The leaves on the trees will come through without any fuss

The tiny buds on the trees will grow bigger as time goes on

Along with lilies springing up on so many ponds

 

For woodland everywhere there will soon be masses of blue bells

So lovely to walk among them and they even have a faint smell

Daffodils and tulips, you can find wherever you go

Also sold in shops far and wide you can see them all in pretty rows

This wonderful time of year where flowers are plentiful

Their new lease of life is just simply incredible

 

People feel so much brighter when the sun shines on them

For those that are single soon pair up and become an item

As this is the time of year where proposals are high

So many couples celebrating everywhere especially at night

Wedding plans are often in full swing all around

For the next chapter in their lives to begin they are homeward bound

 

This time of year, is important for both Jewish & Christian believers

Who observe Passover and for the Gentiles who mostly celebrate Easter

Chocolate eggs are everywhere, no matter where you may go

But these eggs have no connection with Jesus, just so you know

The same applies to the British  Hot Cross Buns

which apparently originate from a fourteenth Century English Monk

 

For those of us who do more than just observe Jesus Cruxifiction

His dying on the cross where He was whipped and terribly beaten

For this life event which were actual facts foretold of His death

But after three days Jesus life, Eloheim did in fact resurrect

If you wonder why, Jesus went through this sheer hell on the cross

This was for our redemption; For us to have life eternal and no longer be lost

 

We all know that this series of events did in actual fact happen

Don’t believe lies telling you otherwise used for distraction

The amazing gift of salvation given to us through Jesus God’s Son

For I know without a doubt that it was for sure my heart that He won

I am right here and right now telling this tale which is not sheer coincidence

Because my life was no accident this truth I have 100% total confidence

 

The same applies to you dear friend as you are reading this poem

Your life was not a mistake, believe you me I am certainly not joking

For His love for you is as vast as the ocean which is deep and wide

There is nothing He doesn’t know about you, so quit trying to hide

You are His workmanship for you were so fearfully and wonderfully made

All He wants is for you to turn your gaze upon Him; and for you to be saved

 

So, with all of this said, this season is really for me the best time of year

If you look at the wonders of His creation so abundantly clear

The warmth of the sunshine and all around you His evidence of new life

The amazing spring season can quite often get rid of our troubles and strife

I urge you therefore, if you feel like heading out and about

Take a moment to absorb God’s creation; His plan of which there is no doubt
