Taken From Psalm 23
He is here, He is near do you believe?
The Lord is Your Shepherd in times of trouble
Do you have faith, do you act in haste?
Or do you simply stamp through the puddles
Of your life in all you do, just know He is there
He is Faithful, He Is True do you trust?
Fully in Him who loves you so very dearly
Are you weary, are you tired, do you despair?
My friend you are not alone even if you don’t see clearly
But just know that He is your anchor in the storm
He is Your Rock, He is Your Fortress, never fear
You shall want for nothing I repeat nothing
He is your guide, Your lamp upon your feet
For He alone paid the price through all his suffering
Just know He leads You beside the still waters
Jesus restores your soul, For His name’s sake
And leads you through paths of righteousness
Fear no evil, be joyful and glad in all you do
I say these words in all seriousness
He is with you with every step you take
His rod, His staff they will comfort You
Even if you walk through dark valleys
For goodness and mercy shall follow you forever
The miracle maker from Galilee
Son of God who shed his blood and tears for His elect
Anoints you with oil, His presence felt
He who prepared a table in front of His enemies
Whose cup overflows, Merciful, Everlasting Father
Jesus who shed tears mixed with salt, He left a legacy
For those who would turn to Him and believe
Will you run, will you come out of your hiding place?
Do not be afraid for You are His Beloved
Caring for you, pleading with His Father in heaven
Willing for You to hand over your life, he is giving you a gentle nudge
And if you accept, you will dwell in His house forever
